Simple Tools for Solving and Creating Codes
Many games and escape rooms rely on ciphers and codes to challenge the players. While there are many sites online available for automatically solving these puzzles, there has been a lack of tools available either offline or as a note taking device that lets the user manipulate a ciphered text without simply providing the answers. For Game Masters, the same tools can be run in reverse. With the flip of a switch, the Key or shift value you provide will be applied in the opposite direction, enabling the quick production of ciphers for your players to solve.
The Codebreaker’s Toybox makes it easy to try solutions for several cipher types: Caeser, Mixed Alphabet and Vigenère.
For non-cipher puzzles it has the ability to Convert text from and to ASCII, Base64, Binary and Hexadecimal, as well as Reversing text or shifting it to Uppercase.
The Reference section has images of several historical and modern symbol-based codes: Pigpen Cipher, Morse Code and Polybius Square.
The current release also includes a beta of the ability to generate and work on Logic Tables.

What information do we collect, and how will it be used?
Codebreaker’s Toybox does not knowingly collect any information from users, with the exception of anonymous data provided automatically in the event of an application crash. Anonymous crash information will only be used to determine the mode of failure of the application and to thereby improve the product. No data that is collected will be shared with any third party.
